MINUTES TAKEN BY JOHN WUCHTE

MANAGING DIRECTOR (Adam Bitterman)

ü       Past debt is clear.

ü       After November Rent paid will have $3,000 in the bank

ü       The TV show MONK paid us for the use of our parking lot for 2 days @ $500/day.

ü       Adam noticed one day that the SPACE across the street was holding auditions and people were parking in our lot.  Got info on the people and sent a note addressing renting the parking lot for the actors or else they may be towed.

ü       SPAM SCAM has been extended.  We are keeping the $10 ticket price.  Must support the extension of shows. ie box office…

LOU BURNSTEIN – Couldn’t we offer the casting people use of our space as a rental?

ADAM – sure.  If someone wants to look in to that, great.

ü       We began a discussion of the $18 ticket price and have we seen any differences.  Adam began speaking and something transpired among a few members and Adam cut himself off and sat down.

The meeting moved forward.

ARTISTIC COMMITTEE (David Mcintyre and Padraic Duffy)

ü       FINER NOBLE GASES – directed by Aaron Francis.  Dates Fri 10/Sat 8 (may change)

ü       FINN IN THE UNDERWORLD – directed by Eric Werner. (NOTE: 2 days following the meetings were denied the rights to produce the play.  Project off the table as of 11/9/04)

WUCHTE -  are there royalties? (Mcintyre – we will know on Tuesday)

BRANDON CLARK – Rep idea good.  Exactly how many shows?  What days?  Why this certain number of shows.

AC – trying something new.  Dates may change.  We felt the shows would work better in this configuration.  Wanted to give equal performance opportunities.  One show works better as a late night (Gases). We schedule accordingly so we could do late night shows as well (F&L).

WUCHTE – how is the $800 budget working?  One show?  Both?  Each? (AC and MD had not come to a decision)

JOE JORDAN – is it harder to get reviewers without a Thursday?

AC – each show would have it’s own opening weekend.  We have been getting good coverage and except for the LA Times it should all be good.

PHIL SOKOLOFF – of course, easier of an 8pm show.

WUCHTE – It’s all about the cost effectiveness of the performances.  How much are we expending and can we warrant that many performances.  We should also find a marketing idea and utilize one postcard.

What is the ticket price going to be?  TBD.

ü       AC still accepting proposals for Dark and Late night projects.

Wuchte – what is the set for the next cycle?  AC – a room.

SAA
