In seventy-something-y years on the Earth,
The Doctor's miraculously given birth
To thirty-three books for fun, smart girls and boys,
From which they've made movies and snack foods and toys.

To whit, of his books, the beloved-most are
So What Does Your Thing Do?, Get Into the Car!,
The Hooker-y Cooker-y, Give Mom a Smack!,
And Pix Needs a Fix, writ with Jack Kerouac.

He no longer lives now in Lake Minnetonka,
But in a vast compound in Southern Sri Lanka
Where he grows his facial hair down to his knees
And dabbles in breeding exotic pink bees.
