Preston Maxley & John Sylvain, circa 1999

TEN YEARS AGO...

Preston Maxley became friends with Sacred Fools founder John Sylvain years ago when they worked together on a community literacy outreach program called "Read This Show." They first met because they shared the same defense attorney.

ART EXPLAINED! was last seen on the Sacred Fools stage in November of 1999.  We are proud to once again become adjunct artists with the SFVLSI now that all the lawsuits have been concluded and Sacred Fools has been fully indemnified.

Past Praise for the SFVLSI!

That SFVLSI ENOP presentations have been regarded by the legitimate press as Theatre Events is a testament to their versatility - and to a learning style that gives back in so many ways.

"quirky, intelligent fun" (L.A. Weekly)
"unexpectedly charming... genuinely haunting" (L.A. Times)
"some of the best L.A. theatre I've ever seen" (BackStage)
