ABOUT THE SHOW:

This is the US Premiere of a British dark comedy. A divorced businessman checks into a hotel and hires a prostitute to avoid spending Christmas alone.
 

There will be a rehearsed reading of the play at Sacred Fools on Sunday, October 2nd at 2pm.

AUDITION REQUIREMENTS:

Please bring a short modern British monologue (2 mins max) and prepare a verse and chorus of a Christmas song to sing (unaccompanied).  All roles require excellent British accent.

CHARACTER BREAKDOWN

COLIN – Lead Role. Mid-thirties/early forties. Lonely divorced businessman at the end of his rope, but longing for a happy Christmas. Strong dramatic and comedic skills required.

DEBBIE – Lead Role. Early/mid thirties. Ballsy prostitute, blunt and working class, with a surprising intelligence and humor. Strong dramatic and comedic skills required. No nudity.

HOLLY – Supporting Role. Twenties. Very attractive fantasy prostitute. Friendly and intelligent. No nudity.
