Sacred Fools presents NAKED Storytelling! Warning: Writers will expose themselves. In this monthly Zoom storytelling event hosted by Joe Hernandez-Kolski, writers share intimate, truthful tales from their own experience based on a monthly theme. Price of admission? A donation that will be split between Sacred Fools and a rotation of other Los Angeles theatre companies.

Interested in getting "Naked" with us? We are currently accepting submissions for storytellers! The story must be honest, from your own personal experience (no telling your great Nana's story), and have a beginning, middle, and end. If you are a first-time storyteller and would like guidance, we have a story coach who can help you shape your tale and help you find your voice.

SUBMISSION FORM (All ethniticies encouraged!)

Storytellers & Partners

AUGUST 3, 2020 - "A Letter To My Younger Self" with AMMO Theater Company: Ammunition Theatre Company (AMMO) was born out of a desire to accelerate representation in the arts, explore the meaning of identity in an ever-changing America, and shift mainstream storytelling toward diverse perspectives, and we are thrilled to collaborate with them on this month's show. Our featured performers from AMMO are Garrett Mercer and Thomas Mejia. Other performers include Brittany McSorley, Marian Gonzalez, Pete Pasco, and Yen Dinh.

JULY 6, 2020 - Debut show with We The People: Our featured performer for our debut show was Amir Levi, a performer / activist / actor / entertainer / singer / animal lover! Amir is also the co-producer/co-curator of We The People Theatre Action, based out of our very own Sacred Fools Theater Company. Other performers: Terry Tocantins, Mandi Moss, M.J.
