ABOUT THE SHOW:

Thrust into a global journey filled with danger, betrayal, and injustice, Voltaire's Candide struggles to hold onto his optimistic belief in the essential goodness of humanity... if only humanity would stop killing his friends and stealing his sheep...

AUDITION REQUIREMENTS:

* Storytelling Monologue – One minute or less. Either one of 4 sample monologues from the script that will be provided on the audition page or from another monologue of your choosing, telling a story of something that happened offstage as vividly and engaged as possible. Paint glorious (or notorious) pictures with words and transport us to another place. Be prepared to do it at least twice as two vastly contrasting characters (age / nationality / physicality / class / etc.)
