Francisco (Jacob Sidney) and his traveling companion, Slappy (Troy Blendell).

The duo are knocked off their feet by a painful, powerful buzz - courtesy of their employers,
The Organization... who say they will help Francisco find Carla, his former wife, so long as they
can get to California Territory, get into the Governor's rodeo, and steal the rose of Salsa Dulce.

Chita (Lindsey Gort) catches Francisco about to take a dip
in the creek, and gets her father to take him and Slappy
along on her family's wagon train to California.

Carla and Chita sing "La Balada de Francisco" as a duet.
