EPISODE ONE (3/7/15)

SUMMARY:  At the turn of the century, Mr. Bill Pibb and Ms. Pepper - who has just gotten her doctorate - are partners who are about to part ways, selling their carbonated potion in a traveling medicine show, promising the crowds it will cure all ills.  They are assisted by Mary, a young woman who pretends that the "medicine" has helped her walk again.  Dr. Pepper is eager to travel back east and begin her practice, no longer reliant on quack cures for a living.  However, she's still waiting for Pibb to give her her half of the proceeds, which she needs for her trip back home.  Pibb says he's reinvested the proceeds back into the company, but he'll leave her the wagon and it's stock of the potion, which is worth more than the $76 he owes her.  After the show, Pepper and Pibb officially end their partnership.  They also try the liquid for the first time... and are surprised at how tasty it is.  Pepper and Pibb once had a romance, but Pibb is a charlatan, and Pepper - though clearly still carrying a torch for him - has had enough.  Unfortunately for Mary, she's just starting to fall for Pibb.  Dr. Pepper warns her of Pibb's untrustworthy ways, but ultimately relents and tells Mary where to find Pibb before he leaves town.  Mary is too late to catch Pibb at the station, and returns with a note left there by him for Dr. Pepper: "You shouldn't have trusted me."  He's absconded with the wagon.

Dr. Pepper (Erin Parks) and Mr. Pibb (Guy Picot) discuss ending their partnership. Dr. Pepper can't wait until she doesn't have to sell quack remedies any more. Mr. Pibb reflects on their history together. Mary (Cj Merriman) has an inadvisable crush on Bill Pibb, and Dr. Pepper offers her some hard-won advice.

EPISODE THREE (4/18/15) - PLAYOFFS ROUND 2!

SUMMARY:  Dr. Pepper and Mary travel to Mr. Pibb's home town of Amarillo and meet Gideon Gideon, who has known Bill since he was a baby.  He claims he hasn't seen Bill, but of course, he has.  And after he hears Pepper's story, and she and Mary retire to the local boarding house for the evening, he calls upon his sons, the oafish Jeremiah and Obadiah and the soft-spoken Nigel, to help him steal Pibb's money and soda stock.

EPISODE FOUR (4/25/15) - PLAYOFFS ROUND 3!

SUMMARY:  Dr. Pepper and Mary are angry enough at Bill to want to kill him... but Gideon Gideon and his sons have the same idea.  Mary manages to catch up with Bill first, and he placates her by giving her the formula for the "Mr. Pibb" tonic to give to Dr. Pepper.  Soon after, Gideon and his boys catch up with Bill and steal his stock; they're about to kill him when Mary arrives and gives them the formula in an attempt to save his life.  But after she leaves, they're still ready and willing to do Bill in...

Obadiah, Jeremiah and Nigel (Heather Schmidt) sing of the dastardly deeds they will do. A family of ne'er-do-wells. Mary catches up with Bill, but doesn't have the heart to be muderous. The Gideons catch up with Bill while Zachary Bernstein provides musical accompaniment.
