SUMMARY: The scrappy but terrible debate team led
by Mr. Westerburg has a new hope for their upcoming debate with
the snooty prep school kids - wealthy new student Kevin. As they
prepare for the debate, the kids are distracted by their
personal problems. Allison is getting hot 'n' heavy with hunky
Isaac, but he insists they keep their relationship a secret.
Bethany has come out as gay, but is upset that everybody's so
understanding; she wanted to become an outsider and gain
catharsis from getting them to accept her how she is. And Mark
has a stutter he's dealing with in his own improbable way. But
when Kevin deserts the team to transfer to the snooty prep
school, all their lack-of-preparation may be for naught. |
