Episode Two (2/1/20)

Summary: The Stark Winters (reigning regional champions in Folk Chamber Madrigal Ensemble) have controlled the fire oeuvre for seven summers. The Lionnaires (reigning regional champions in Show Choir) control the theme of ice. When Lionnaires Jimmy and Stacey are denied a fire song, Stark Winter Eddie knows they won't relent. He leaves to make the journey to Tanglewood, to replenish the music binder with a new fire song to offset the inevitable coming loss.

Meanwhile, Hector has been fired from the Stark Winters for missing the final rehearsal before a competition. His story of having seen a White Tie is dismissed by leader Eddie, since The White Ties haven't been active since the 1980s. Despite Hector's misgivings about the closeness of Jimmy and Stacey's brother sister relationship, they seduce the rejected boy into their service and he gives them the combination to the Stark Winters' music locker, where all the fire songs are kept.

Dani, the new girl, is secretly in love with Lion Jimmy. When Stacey hears her singing of her longing and recognizes her as the last surviving Dragonvoice, she enlists Jimmy and Hector to help her catch the girl.

And The White Tie King is quietly building an army of the dead inside.

Episode Three (2/8/20)

Summary: Ariana wants to sing a pop song, but Katie tells her the Stark Winters only embrace the old ways - and if she sings that song, she can never be a Lady of the Stark Winters, and will lose their protection. But Ariana is resolute. Meanwhile, Dani confesses her love of Lion Jimmy to Rhea - but when Jimmy arrives searching for the Dragonvoice, the lovestruck Dani finds herself unable to sing, and Jimmy and his retinue leave, dissapointed. Moments later, the White Ties arrive and accost Dani... who stiffens and walk off with them, infected by their zombiedom - now dead inside like them.

Summary: Hector is ejected from the Lionairres by Jimmy and Stacey, while Katie fails to keep Ariana in the fold of the Stark Winters. Meanwhile, Eddie makes a perilous trek to visit the Music Meiser in order to get the most powerful Fire Song he has in order to defeat the White Ties... but the song the Meiser ultimately offers may be too powerful for anyone in the Stark Winters to sing. Hector meets Sandra - who is upset from having seen Ariana and Katie rehearsing without her, and has stolen their library of Fire Songs, intending to start rival house the Rogue Winters - and the two team up.
