The Narrator (Chet Nelson) recaps the story of "The Karate Kid" for us -
but since this is the Internet, we can just link you to the Wiki article.
But what happened to Daniel Larusso afterwards?
I mean, if you ignore the sequels.

Daniel Larusso (Michael Holmes) was the best around.
(Also pictured: Jaime Robledo as "Mr. Miyagi")

Today, still living in Reseda ("and wouldn't you be, if you lived there?"),
his wife, Ali With an I (Marianne Davis), takes time away from her
adventures in babysitting to help him prepare for a job interview.

His potential boss, the head of Custodial Affairs at Shumway International
(that's from "Alf"), is none other than Kreese (Christopher W. Jones),
the Kobra Kai champion who was once his nemesis.

That night, Daniel worries that he won't be able to work with those guys.

"Looks like it's take a worm for a walk week!  YEAAAAAAHHHH!"
JJ Mayes as "Tommy"
