EPISODE ONE (2/7/09)

The cast of SEAMEN! THE MUSICAL!  L-R: Will Collyer as "Bill,"
Nicholas S. Williams as "Fred," Michael Lanahan as "Jerry," Lauren Nasman as "Izzy,"
Alina Phelan Ballou as "Susan" and Kelsey Wedeen as "Anne."

"Just one night..."

Just one night on the town 'till these
enthusiastic boys ship out to fight the Japs...
but first... time to meet some dames!

The boys fend off a couple of drunks (Christopher Gyre & Stephen Vendette)
who were trying to get fresh with the ladies.

Singing separately...

...and together.

EPISODE TWO (2/14/09)
Photos this week by Angela Carper Lanahan

The girls tend to Jerry's injuries after a brawl.

A somber moment as they reflect on shoving off to fight the Japs.

Fred tells the boys his plan to make sure Susan doesn't stray
while he's gone: he's going to get her pregnant tonight,
so no other guy will want to touch her... and when he
gets home, he'll have a ready-made family.

Shy Bill is coaxed into walking Anne home.

Rough-and-tumble Izzy (played this week by Lucy Griffin) and
light-in-the-loafers Jerry seem to have more in common than they first realized.

Susan has her own plan to keep Fred from straying
while he's overseas.  (Preacher played by Dan Wingard.)

EPISODE THREE (2/21/09)

"Either the whiskey's moved down to my legs, or something
about the way you say 'canaries' made me all wobbly!"

Just a couple of wide-eyed kids.

Plans for the future.

A sudden, passionate kiss.

Musical Number: "You're Making Me Think Some Things That I Never Woulda Thunk Before"

EPISODE FOUR (2/28/09)

Morning, and it's time to ship out... and Jerry
(now played by Trevor Lissauer) is in high spirits

Though they're now married and she's pregnant,
Susan still frets that Fred will forget her while he's overseas.

Anne's heartsore over Bill's leaving.
Falling in love with a sailor stinks.

Meeting new shipmates Spud (Joe Hendrix, far left)
and tap-dancing Dizzy (Jaime Robledo, far right).

Rocco (Christopher McNeany) has a new tattoo.

Self-proclaimed rules enforcer Curtis (Jacob Sidney) tells
Rocco to put a shirt on, while Spud mocks him behind his back.

All fall in for the Captain (Christopher Gerson).

A press photographer (Dan Wingard) is there to see the crew off.

Musical Number: "Across the Sea"

EPISODE FIVE (3/28/09)

Jerry finds he's bunking with Rocco.  The two become friends...
very friendly friends.  Jerry seems quite giddy about this.

Musical Number: "Nothing But Crying"

EPISODE SIX (4/4/09)

Anne (played this week by Megan Crockett) writes a letter to Bill.
Also pictured: accompanist David Bickford.

Izzy's excited about her new job at the airplane factory.

The girls encourage lovesick Anne to fly to Hawaii, where
the boys will be on shore leave, to meet up with Bill.

Musical Number: "Just Go"

EPISODE SEVEN (5/30/09) - PLAYOFFS WEEK ONE!

Rocco (now played by Jason Whisman) offers to show Jerry the torpedoes,
while a suspicious Curtis eavesdrops on their conversation.

Curtis snitches to the Captain (now played by Richard Levinson).

Song: "Open Your Eyes"

EPISODE EIGHT (6/6/09) - PLAYOFFS WEEK TWO!

Jerry (now played by Robbie Winston) thanks Rocco
for giving him a hand and really saving his ass.

The Captain promises Curtis (now played by Brian Wallis)
to get to the bottom of these shennanigans and
nip them in the butt... er, the bud.

The boys are on shore leave in Hawaii at last!
(L-R: JJ Mayes as "Bill," Robbie Winston
as "Jerry" and Jeremy Aldridge as "Fred")

The boys meet Honey (Natascha Corrigan),
the local "welcome wagon."

Song: "I Love Seamen"

Just as Fred and Bill go off to enjoy themselves
with Honey, Annie arrives!  Ooooooh boy!
