Stephen (Dan Wingard) and another actor (Jaime Andrews) do a
mirror exercise while waiting for their new improv teacher to
arrive.
Their new teacher, Klagdor, assigns Lori (Rebecca Larsen) and
Stephen to
improv a scene where he's a dentist, they're recently divorced,
and she
comes to him with a toothache. The scene descends into
violence.
A scene where Stephen's lost his job and comes home to
find his wife in bed with the guy who was promoted over
him also somehow spawns violence instead of hilarity.
The other students (Julia Griswold &
Colin Willkie) observe with
interest. At least, I think it's interest. Maybe
it's just gas.
When Klagdor gets a call that he's booked a real acting gig and
can quit this teaching job, his students' jealousy turns
violent.
