Once upon a time in the land of 8-bit videogames, in a game called
"Grip of Violence," a team of super-awesome friends vanquished the forces of evil!
(L-R: David LM McIntyre as "Snickers," Ed Goodman as "Max O'Rourke" and Colin Willkie as "Kyle Fist")

A pair of Evil henchmen (Michael Holmes & Mandi Moss),
about to be vanquished by the forces of Good.

"Laughter is great with the ones you fight beside!"
opines Gina (Rebecca Larsen) in the cutscene.

Years later, in the videogame's sequel, "Grip of Violence II," the long-since-thought dead
Kane Magnus (Paul Byrne) kills former sensei Max O'Rourke with a double-kidney crunch!

Snickers has a lot to say about Max's death.
Unfortunately, I don't speak Raaar.

Gina mourns Max's death.

Steele Death (Paul Plunkett, far left) berates his
underlings, and vows that he will rule Metroplitan City!

Super Awesome Team Friendship decides to go to the zoo! Yay!

However, the
Zoo has been turned into an evil headquarters crackhouse!
"Drugs ARE bad!"  "And are not good for animals!"  "I get high on friendship!"

After the battle, they exchange... um, "words"... with Donkey Kong (Ceasar Barajas).

"You have failed me again, brother!"
"For that, I must... die!"
