SUMMARY:  Detective Kat Williams is stuck constantly dealing with her non-working partner David X. Machina (and their useless secretary Gina's crush on him). But she puts up with him because David has the uncanny habit of showing up at the last second and saving the day. He does it again when she is collecting evidence of a murder, and along with abusive police officer Gary, held at gunpoint by a gardener named Ronnie. David shows up late from phone shopping and trips over Ronnie, forcing him to drop the gun. Meanwhile, crime lord Gary is too busy getting high and drawing scantily clad models to care that his gardener was just arrested. His associates, identical twins Lily and Violet, tell him not to worry - they will deal with the detectives. And they do, by returning the phone David left at their place the night before... attached to a bomb!
