SUMMARY:  Young blogger and creative type Mark is taken home by his girlfriend Eve to meet her parents. Eve's parents are hardcore. Her mom is a Nobel Prize winner for Medicine, and her father is a New York Times bestselling author. Eve's father takes Mark into the study for a terrifyingly stark man-to-man chat.


Angus has been brought home by his girlfriend to meet Mom & Dad. They're a little competitive.


Angus is given an example of how a writer answers the question,
"What are you working on?", by his girlfriend's famous author father.

SUMMARY:  Eve's parents are worried about her choice in men. Mark desperately tries to get his shit together. Mark lives with a couple of wise-ass stoners who have a loose grip on reality, and is regularly attending a useless writer's circle. Mark's frustration with his life leads him to be more assertive.


After being encouraged by his girlfriend's father to step up his game, Angus begins
to take stock of his surroundings and tries to increase his creative output.

SUMMARY:  Bosley gets high with Angus’s pal Taegel. When Bosley gets high, she changes from a weed-dealing fool into a smack-talking princess (complete with tiara.) Meanwhile, Eve’s father continues to fall into his alcohol-fueled depression over his inability to continue writing his new novel. Eve and her mother are interviewed by the police regarding Angus’s assault on a waiter at a local restaurant.


Taegel and Bosley get high and Bosley gets strange.
